Albion Prison Facility is a high-security women's jail in Albion, New York, United States (Orleans County) operated by the New York State Department of Corrections. The site was founded in 1894 as the Western House of Protection for Women, then the Albion State Training School.
Albion is one facility in New York specifically for women, the other is the Bedford Hills Settlement Facility, Taconic Correctional Facility. The most famous, Albion is housed in "Long Island Lolita" Amy Fisher for 3 ½ years; she was later transferred to the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women, the only maximum security prison for women in New York State and located in Bedford Hills, New York.
In 2010 Albion has a working capacity of 1247.
