The South Bay Correctional Facility is a private state jail for men located in South Bay, Palm Beach County, Florida, operated by GEO Group under contract with Florida Repair Department. The facility opened in 1997 and has a maximum capacity of 1948 prisoners.
In September 2012, the jury awarded a convict in the South Bay settlement of $ 1.2 million for losing his eye during a fight with other inmates.
