Viral Pregnancy Announcement
In June 2015, Sam uploaded a video about her shocking his wife with her own pregnancy by dipping a pregnancy test into the toilet with urine in it in the morning she did not water it. The video is called, HUSBAND SHINKS WITH PREGNANCY TIME! and immediately taken by the media and become viral. In two days it has more than 5 million views, currently has a total of 18 million views. The video caused a number of controversies, including Vanity Fair (magazine) and Mic (media company) who questioned whether a man had the right to know a pregnant woman before she knew herself. To dispute claims made by Sam and Nia in his videos, Buzzfeed interviewed a doctor and published an article raising doubts on the ability to get positive pregnancy test results from toilet water. Many people post videos on YouTube defending and proving Sam and Nia authenticity by taking their own urine samples from toilet water using various brands and types of over-the-counter pregnancy tests while clearly pregnant. In all the videos, the test results are really positive.
Miscarriage
Three days later, when the video still becomes viral, in another emotional video (now removed), Sam and Nia announce that their pregnancy suddenly ends in a miscarriage. This announcement gets mixed reactions. Articles and videos were created to support them and others made doubts about the authenticity of their claims. Sam admits that Nia did not go to the doctor for examination, he said it was not necessary because he's a registered nurse and already knows how to handle the situation. This creates more doubts. Sam and Nia insist that they are completely honest â ⬠<â â¬
Three days after the miscarriage was announced, it was revealed that Sam had an account on Ashley Madison's affair website three years earlier. Most major news websites and news magazines quickly picked up this story and published it, including The Daily Mail, Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan (magazine), Perez Hilton, and many others. Within two days Sam, with Nia at his side, released a video (now removed) acknowledging and apologizing for having an account and saying God and Nia have forgiven him. This video caused more controversy and reaction and was seen as a cop out. Despite all the controversy, their subscriber count has increased considerably.
Vlogger Fair scandal
The Ashley Madison scandal broke out in the news while Sam and Nia attended the Vlogger Fair in Seattle. While there Sam finds another family vlogger accused of liking a tweet that criticizes him. He apparently started shouting and making verbal threats against other vloggers. He was quickly kicked out of the Vlogger Fair. This event makes the news put Sam in a more negative light. Their fan base began to fall and Sam was accused of being a hypocrite for claiming to be a Christian while doing so-called non-Christians like things outside the camera.
Hiatus
After the previous controversy, Sam and Nia announced that they will take hiatus from vlogging for an indefinite period. They say they need time to recover from their controversy and spend time focusing and healing their marriage and family.

They publish vlogs several times a week until they resume their daily vlogging about a month later.
