A correction fluid or white-out is blurry, usually white fluid applied to paper to mask errors in text. Once dry, it can be rewritten. These are usually packaged in small bottles, and the lid has an attached brush (or a piece of triangular foam) dipped in a bottle. Brush is used to apply liquid to paper.
Prior to the invention of word processors, correction fluid greatly facilitated the production of typed documents.
One of the first corrective fluid forms was discovered in 1956 by secretary Bette Nesmith Graham, founder of Liquid Paper.
With the advent of colored paper stock for office use/typing/photocopying, correction fluid manufacturers started producing their products in various colors, especially red, blue and yellow, so the correction made on this paper would be less visually invasive.

Thinner
Because it contains organic solvents (volatile organic compounds), unused correction liquids thicken over time as volatile solvents pass into the air. It can be too thick to use, and sometimes it actually hardened. Therefore, some manufacturers also sell bottles of solvents as "thinner", a few drops that will return the correction fluid to its original liquid state.
Thinner initially contains toluene, which is prohibited due to its toxicity. Then, it contains 1,1,1-trichloroethane, a skin irritant that is now widely prohibited under the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, and then a slightly safer trichlorethylene. Thinner is currently used with correction fluids including bromopropane.
To avoid the discomfort of organic solvents (safety and availability), some brands of water-based liquids. However, they have a shortage of longer drying time, and incompatibility with some ink (which will absorb through them).

Organic solvents are psychoactive when sufficient amounts are inhaled. Manufacturing Process

This process consists of 3 methods. First, combine batches. Second, quality control checks. Third, fill and pack.
Unify the set
In the first stage, the water will be filled into the main batch tank. Deferred agents and materials will be added in this phase. Mixing is carried out at low levels for adequate dispersion. During mixing, no air is added to the mixture.
In the second phase, the pigment is in process. This will be added in the appropriate amount to the water. Mixing is applied at a very high level in this process that is different from the first phase. In the mixing process, when the particles are small enough, it gets added to the main batch.
In the last stage, resins and other necessary materials will be added such as dyes and preservatives.
Quality control check
In the process of quality checking, specialists will check in the lab for physical and chemical characteristics such as pH determination, viscosity checks, appearance and evaluation of odors.
In the case of errors such as insufficient materials to make correction fluid, this problem will be solved by adding more material. When this process is completed, the correction fluid will be pumped into the retaining tank waiting to fill the correction fluid in the next method.
Charging and packaging
First, the charging process depends on the different packages of each product. Charging lines and filler heads play an important role in this process. Empty bottles will be on the conveyor belt and move constantly waiting for the injection of correction fluid in each bottle.
