Vaginal gas: Common causes and prevention
src: cdn1.medicalnewstoday.com

Vaginal bloating abdominal is the emission or expulsion of the air from the vagina. This can occur during or after intercourse or during other sexual acts, stretching or exercise. The sound is somewhat comparable to flatulence of the anus but does not involve waste gas and thus often has no associated special odor. The term slang for vaginal bloating includes vart , queef , and fanny fart (mostly English).

More serious condition

Vaginal gas involving strong odors or impurities can be caused by colovaginal fistula, a serious condition involving tears between the vagina and the colon, which can result from surgery, childbirth, illness (such as Crohn's disease), and other causes. This condition can cause urinary tract infections and other complications. Vaginal gas can also be a symptom of internal female genital prolapse, the condition most often caused by labor.

Puffs or small amounts of air passed into the vaginal cavity during cunnilingus will not cause a known problem, but "force" or intentionally blow forced air into the vaginal cavity may cause air embolism, which in very rare cases can be potentially harmful to the woman, and if pregnant, to the fetus.
